Jack Otieno is the co-founder and Operations Director at Eco-Frontier Kenya Limited — and the hands-on heartbeat of our project work. With over 13 years of experience working with rural communities across Kenya, Jack is the bridge between technical project design and development and real-world execution.

His background in project design, project certification, Monitoring and Audits coupled with   community engagement gives him a unique edge: he understands not only how to implement renewable energy and Nature Based Solutions carbon projects — but how to make them work for the people they’re meant to serve and the impacts they should create.

Jack is a specialist in Nbs Project Design Specialist, and  skilled in designing and executing forestry carbon projects following both VCS and CCB, Gold Standard Schemes. He has a wide experience in household surveys, carbon project field protocols, and audit preparations.
